Project Brief:

Control using the KNX system of lighting, heating and blinds while minimising the limitations on the placement of controllers due to the zoning of wet areas

Allowance is required for centralised control of the pool lighting from the house

Implemented Solution:

KNX Control Bus for system integration installed by Eighty A Controls Ltd throughout throughout the new pool, gym, playroom, boot-room and plant area

KNX PIR control of outside lighting installed by Eighty A Controls Ltd

Under floor heating installed and programmed by Eighty A Controls Ltd in the playroom and gym area controlled with KNX from GIRA room temperature controllers in the associated zone

Silent Gliss Blinds controlled via GIRA wall switches on the KNX bus installed by Eighty A Controls Ltd

All switching and dimming for the lighting controlled on the KNX bus via GIRA wall switches

Pool Air-Conditioning controlled by logic on KNX which did not allow the pool hall air temperature to be lowered if the outside temperature was too low

WHD speakers were installed by Eighty A Controls Ltd in the playroom and gym for local control

Pool Hall door lock is controlled by two GIRA door communication keypads installed by Eighty A Controls to restrict unsupervised child access in the area
